Brooklyn born Seth Lowenstein began working in restaurants at age thirteen. Following high school and being the only male in his home economics class, Seth was slated to go to Cornell University for veterinarian medicine when he realized his true passion and chose to attend the Culinary Institute of America, graduating second in his class. After spending three years cooking at Turnberry Isle yacht and racquet club in Aventura, Florida under James Beard award winner Chef Allen Susser. Seth came back to New York City honing his skills at the eclectic Blue Willow Restaurant. Then later became the Executive Chef of Branded Hospitality’s City Crab and Seafood Company. Under the Branded umbrella he then launched Dukes NYC and Big Daddys concepts and was the Corporate Executive Chef of all six locations in New York City, then helping expand the brand to Dubai UAE.
Next Stop for Chef Seth was Miami! As Corporate Executive Chef of the 50 Eggs Group. He oversaw the successful Yardbird Southern Table Brand and spearheaded the 3 Store openings of 50 Eggs new concept Spring Chicken .
Seth has been a guest lecturer at New York University Restaurant management class, appeared on The NBC Today Show, cooked at numerous James Beard House dinners and participated in Food and Wine events in Aspen Colorado and Miami Beach, Florida. Recent winner of the national televised Rachel Ray Stadium challenge!
He is an avid motorcyclist and seafood expert and has the skills and knowledge to get your concepts up and running concentrating on keeping start up costs at a minimum while getting the show opened.
